Server NICs

This panel displays information about the NICs on the selected server and allows you to add,
modify, migrate, or remove an interface.
The options are:
Add: Add a new interface to the selected server. When you click Add, the Add NIC dialog box
opens, and you can specify the name of the new interface. To specify a VIF, add the VIF suffix
(:<nnnnn>) to the physical interface name (for example, bond0:2).
Modify: Change the properties for the selected NIC.
Migrate: Migrate the selected user NIC to another host. This option cannot be used for the cluster
interface.
Remove: Remove the selected NIC. If you remove the cluster interface, be sure to identify a new
cluster interface so that the server can contact the Fusion Manager.

Servers

The Servers Page lists all File Serving Nodes in the cluster. The Summary area provides detailed
information about the selected server.
Configure Authentication
This option is intended for File Serving Nodes that will be acting as CIFS servers. It configures the
nodes to authenticate with your Active Directory domain, enabling the nodes to control access for
CIFS users.
Click Delete to remove the server's record from the configuration database. Before deleting a
server, unmount all filesystems from the server, migrate any segments owned by the server to
another server, and ensure that the server is not serving as a failover standby and is not involved
in network interface monitoring.
To delete the selected server, click Delete and then confirm the operation.
