7 Problem Solving
Paper Jams at Lever 2b and Knob 2c

Make sure that the machine is not operating,
and open the right cover of the finisher.

Move lever 2b (1), and turn knob 2c
counterclockwise (2). Remove the jammed
paper.

Return levers 2b to its original position.

Close the finisher right cover.
Note

Make sure that the machine is not operating,
and open the right cover of the finisher.

Pull out tri-fold output tray 2d, open lever 2e,
and remove the jammed paper.

• If the paper is torn, make sure no piece of
paper remains inside the machine.
• A message will be displayed and the machine will not operate if the right cover of the finisher
is even slightly open.
• If the paper is torn, make sure no piece of
