Avant 9700 DIP Switches

The Avant 9700 contains eight DIP switches that are located under the blue back
cover of the unit (See "Installing the Batteries" for instructions on removing the
back cover). The UP position is toward the top of the unit, and the DOWN position
is toward the bottom of the unit. The factory setting for all Avant 9700 DIP
switches is the DOWN position.

Up—Slow Averaging (8 beat exponential average)
Down—Normal Averaging (4 beat exponential average)

Alarm Unlatched / Latched
Up—Alarms Latched
Down—Alarms Unlatched

Factory / User-Defined Defaults
Up—User-Defined Defaults for Alarm Limits and Volume Settings
Down—Factory Defaults for Alarm Limits and Volume Settings
