Alarm Summary

The Avant 9700 detects both patient and equipment alarms. In general, patient
alarms are identified as high priority, while equipment alarms are identified as
medium priority.
Patient Alarms
If patient SpO
or pulse readings are equal to or above the upper alarm limit, or if

they are equal to or below the lower alarm limit, the Avant 9700 will signal a high
priority alarm, indicated by red numeric LEDs that flash in sync with the Main
Alarm LED.
