13. Facsimile is not Functioning Properly

Transmission Failures

Symptom
The document is not
scanned.
The document is not
scanned slantways.
The image received at the
destination is not clear.
A blank sheet is printed at
the destination.
Automatic transmission is
not possible.
TX Marker is too faint
(option).
Possible Cause
Is the document too heavy?
Is the document too thin or too
small?
Is the Original Glass dirty?

pressed tightly up against the edges
of the document?
