2.1 Selecting the Command Mode

Just as there are programming languages used for controlling the operation of a computer, there are also
programming languages that are specifically designed for use with plotters.
This plotter has three resident command sets: two sets of Graphtec commands (MP-GL and FP-GL) plus HP-
GL™ emulation commands that enable your plotter to emulate a Hewlett-Packard 7475A plotter. Set the com-
mand mode to match the commands used in your application program.
(1) Press the MOD E key and then press the
