Connects the Fieldbook to an external power adapter for operation and battery charging

USB 3.0 port to connect different devices to the Fieldbook
Holds the SIM card that is needed for the WWAN (option)
To insert a micro SD card for memory extension (or other applications)
Connects / interrupts the connection to the internal backup battery
Connects the Fieldbook to an external display device
