Removing the Used Retard Roller in the Standard 250-Sheet Tray
NOTE: Remove all paper or media from the tray before pulling the tray out of the printer.
1. Pull the standard 250-sheet tray out of the printer carefully. Hold the tray with both hands, and remove it from the printer.
NOTE: Ensure that you remove all the paper from the standard 250-sheet tray before removing the retard roller.
NOTE: Carefully replace the standard 250-sheet tray so it does not fall down.
2. By holding the retard roller tabs with your fingers, pull the retard roller out of the groove in the axle.
Installing the New Retard Roller in the Standard 250-Sheet Tray
1. Align the new retard roller to the groove on the axle.
2. Insert the retard roller into the axle till it snaps fit so the protrusions fit completely into the slots and the roller hook reseats into the groove on the axle.
