2.2 - SAFETY PROTECTIONS
There are two types of safety systems designed and
fitted to the coffee machine:
Mechanical safety devices
Electrical/electronic safety devices.
2.2.a - Mechanical safety devices
The mechanical safety devices are as follows:
-
panel enclosing all electrical/electronic components
and the boiler, fully closed by screws;
-
working surface fitted with grille and tray to collect
fluids;
-
controls located on the top part of the machine,
above the dispensing areas;
-
relief valve on the boiler;
-
check valve on the water line.
2.2.b - Electrical/electronic safety devic-
es
The electrical/electronic safety devices are as follows:
-
thermal breakers on motors;
-
safety thermostats to monitor overheating;
2.3 - OPERATOR AREAS
The machine is operated by only one operator, who
stands in front of the machine to prepare coffee and
other hot drinks with ease.
2.4 - AREAS WITH RESIDUAL RISK
Residual risk areas are areas that cannot be protected
due to the specific type of operation they are used for;
on the coffee machine, these areas are as follows:
•
the area of the units when dispensing coffee;
•
the steam tap when heating drinks;
•
the hot water dispensing area;
Risk of burning is present in all
three areas.
2.5 - DANGEROUS AREAS
Dangerous areas are all areas in-
side the machine, under the safety
guards, where the technician can
operate when servicing the ma-
chine.
These areas are accessible only by
the technician.

3 - MACHINE DESCRIPTION
The following are the main features of the automatic
espresso coffee machine.
-
Automatic powdered coffee machine with electronic
dosing control with programmable microprocessor
using a LED button panel and a touch screen. The
machine is also fitted with a button for continuous
manual dispensing. Available in a 2 unit version.
