use a shop rag and mineral spirits to wipe away
any built up grime and debris off of the table sup-
port rod, then brush on a thin coat of light machine
oil onto the shaft (see figure 86). move the work
table back and forth to distribute the oil.

Clean the rocker plate with mineral spirits and
a rag, and brush a dollop of grease onto the
rocker plate. move the quick release tension lever
foward and backward to spread the grease (see
figure 87).
