IDE Configuration
The items in this menu allow you to set or change the configurations for
the IDE devices installed in the system. Select an item then press <Enter>
if you wish to configure the item.

IDE Detect Time Out (Sec)
ATA(PI) 80Pin Cable Detection
IDE PIO Pre-Fetch Enable
Onboard PCI IDE Controller [Both]
Allows you to set the onboard PCI IDE Controller. Set to [Disabled] to
disable the integrated IDE Controller. Set to [Primary] to enable only the
Primary IDE Controller. Set to [Secondary] to enable only the Secondary IDE
Controller. Set to [Both] to enable both IDE Controller.
Configuration options: [Disabled] [Primary] [Secondary] [Both]
Onboard PCI S-ATA Controller [IDE By Bios]
Allows you to set the onboard PCI S-ATA Controller.
Configuration options: [Disabled] [IDE By Bios] [RAID By Rom]
Hard Disk Write Protect [Disabled]
Allows you to enable or disable device write protection. This will be
effective only if the device is accessed through BIOS.
Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
IDE Detect Time Out [35]
Selects the time out value for detecting ATA/ATAPI devices.
Configuration options: [0] [5] [10] [15] [20] [25] [30] [35]
ATA(PI) 80Pin Cable Detection [Host]
Selects the mechanism for detecting 80Pin ATA(PI) Cable.
Configuration options: [Host & Device] [Host] [Device]
IDE PIO Pre-Fetch Enable [Disabled]
Allows you to enable or disable IDE PIO Pre-fetch Enable. Set it to
[Disabled] before testing AMIDIAG.
