Levantar a tampa 1, encher o reservat6rio 2 com agua potavel natural e verificar se o
tubo de recolha asta bem imerso. Utilizar égua potavel natural ou, se a égua da rade
far particularmente calcaria, usar agua minerai natural.
Fechar a tampa do reservat6rio 1.
Ligar a maquina a urna tomada de corrente COM
TERRA
utilizando o cabo de
alimentaçao 8. Assegurar-se de qua a tomada
é
adequada para suportar a carga da
maquina (ver caracterfsticas técnicas). Nao utilizar tomadas multiplas e/ou extensaes.
EXECUTAR A OPERAçAO DE ARRANQUE: sem inserir o copo porta-cépsula , abra
a tomeira vapor rodando o manipulo para o simbolo vapor, premir o interruptor café
. Ligar a maquina scendendo o interruptor geral luminoso ; ap6s alguns instantes a
égua
saira
pelo tubo vapor-5; e fechar a torneira vapor, esperar que o indicador luminoso
da resistAncia 16 se apague, neste pento a maquina asta pronta a ser usada ..
A TENçAO: o uso da maquina sem égua ou sem ter efectuado a operaçiio de arranque
provoca graves danos nilo cobertos pela garantia.

PREPARAçAO DO CAFÉ (ver figuras b -e-d -e-f)
Para obter um excelente café espresso é necessario que a maquina esteja quente,
pertanto aconselha-se a ligé-la alguns minutos antes da sua utillzaçilo.
1) Efectuar a operaçao de arranque (se necessaria)
2) Colocar a capsula no capo apropriado 11
(fig. b);
3) inserir o copo no grupo caldeira flxo 9, posiçio inicial "X•empurrando-o para cima
e rodando-o no sentido anti-horario até apertar completamente, posiç!o finai"Y" (fig.
c-d);
4) colocar a cMvena sobre a grelha 6 alinhada com o bica de distribuiçao 12
(fig.
e);
5) prem ir o interruptor café 13 para iniciar a distribuiçao do café (fig. f);
6) ao atingir a quantidade de espuma desejada interromper a distribuiçao rapando o
interruptor 13 na posiçiio inicial
Esperar cerca de 5 segundos, abrir o porta-capsulas rodando a paga para a esquerda
e remover logo a capsula.
Retlrar sempre a cépsula usada da méqulna depols da dlstrlbulçio do café.
ATENçAO: na preparaçao do cappuccino deitar antes o café e depois bater o leite.
IMPORTANTE: certificar-se sempre de que o reservat6rio tem égua e que este esta
bem colocado na maquina.
Se se utilizou a maquina sem agua, é necessario efectuar a oparaçAo de arranque.
Confirmar se o tubo de recolha esté bem imerso e se niio esta cortado ou dobrado.
NOTA: com a maquina ligada é perfeitamente normal que pingue ligeiramente por
baixo do capo.
Esvaziar frequentemente a gaveta apara-gotas 7.
PREPARATION OF CAPPUCCINO

Perforrn the priming operations, if necessary.
1) Press and ho l d the steam butto n 14 in the steam position
(fig. g) ;
2) wait untìl the resistance led 16 turns off and release steam button 14;
3) immerse half of the mìlk frother 3 in a cup of mìlk poured previously (fig. h);
4) open the steam nozzle by rotating knob 3 counterclokwise
(fig. h);
5) steam dispensing starts;
6) when you reach the required amount of milk froth, stop dispensing by rotating knob
3 to its inìtial posìtion.
NOTE: before making another cappuccino, it is necessary to push the steam button
14 again, until the resistance led 16 turns off.
CAUTION: immediately after releasing the steam button 14, start dispensing steam
to avoid overheating of the machine.
IMPORTANT: when you finish dispensing, clean milk frother and steam spout using
a damp cloth.

SHORTAGE OF WATER (figure a)
Water level can be directly checked through the transparent tank and it must always
be above the minimum level. In case of water shortage, water dispensing stops, the
pump is noisier and a gurgling noise is produced in the water tan k.
WARNING: before filling the tank, disconnect the device from the power outlet.
CAUTION: immediately fili the tank with fresh water, paying attention not to exceed
the maximum levai, and return to norma! use.
lf the machine runs out of water during operation, fili the tank and prime the pump
using the priming operations described above, then return to norma! use.
MAINTENANCE ANO CLEANING (figure i)
Always disconnect the plug from the power socket.
Empty the drop-collecting tray 7 every 2-3 days, or whenever it is full .
Clean the boiler unit 9 with a cloth moistened with water and carefully dry it.
You can remava drop-collecting tray 7, mìlk frother 5, coffee spout 12, water tank 2,
and capsule-holding filter 11, wash them with running water, dry them carefully and
replace them.
For cleaning use an ordinary, neutra! liquid detergent. Under no circumstances use
abrasives, alcohol or solvents.
Never immerse the machine in water.
