Symbols and their Meaning

These operating instructions employ symbols that are intended to help the user

find information faster and more effectively. These symbols are explained

below.

Caution: This symbol is used to draw your attention to the correct operating

procedure in order to avoid damage to the system and other devices.

Note: This symbol is used to draw your attention to special information.

G Actions that you need to perform are indicated by a bullet (G) on the left,

followed by the instruction text, which is placed in bold type in angle brackets

<...>, generally to the right of or below any diagrams.

The most important points of the action are printed in bold type.

' The message in response to the action you perform is indicated by an arrow

(').

− Lists are introduced by a dash (−).
