2. Assembling and crimping the Type BNC−C2 connector
With this type of connector the contact pin
is already firmly bonded to the connector
housing.
G Thread the core of the coaxial cable as far
as it will go through the connector
housing.
It will connect automatically.
G Push the crimp sleeve over the insulation
as far as the connector housing.
G Using the RG−62 notch on the crimping
tool, crimp the two parts together.
G Slide the rubber cap up against the
connector housing.
3. Assembling and crimping the Type BNC−C3 connector
G Place the contact pin over the core of the
coaxial cable and crimp the two together
using notch "S" of the crimping tool.
G Insert the crimped contact pin into the
connector housing.
The contact should click into place in the
connector housing.
G At the same time push the insulation of
the coaxial cable over the connector
opening.
G Using the RG−59 notch on the crimping
tool, crimp the two parts together.
G Slide the rubber cap up against the
connector housing.
