Description of Functions
The HQ−IDC−23012P compact colour camera from videotronic infosystems can
be used in a variety of ways. The high−resolution 1/4" colour CCD camera is
fitted with an integrated 23 times (+ 10x digital) power zoom lens, which can be
set on site to the desired focal length − independently of the camera location.
Costly visits and planning operations on site can thus be eliminated. Due to its
light sensitivity of 0.01 lux on the sensor and the integrated backlight
compensation, the camera provides good picture quality even under difficult
lighting conditions. A picture integration facility enables the light sensitivity to be
raised by an additional factor of 64.
Certification of the camera to the UVV Kassen regulations guarantees a high
standard of quality for use in banks.
The integrated auto focus control permits crystal clear images at all times.
Comprehensive settings, e.g. camera ID, can be carried out via
easy−to−understand on−screen menus. The extensive range of menu items
enable the camera to be calibrated to a very wide range of applications.
Remote configuration and control of the camera is possible via the integrated
interface. The RS232 interface protocol is contained in the operating
instructions.
The camera has an automatic mode switch to distiguish between day and
night. During the day it can switch to the colour mode for optimum colour
reproduction, and during the night for clear detection to the black and white
mode.
