WHITE BAL (White Balance Control)

In this menu you can activate the automatic tracking white balance (ATW) or
enter a fixed setting for the white balance manually (AWB). The camera is
designed for use in daylight. In artificial light there may be colour distortions
because individual colour components are distributed in a different way to
daylight or are missing completely. This is compensated for by the automatic
white balance. You can accomplish this by activating the automatic white
balance and / or reinforcing the colour components via the manual setting.
Note: You only have to activate the automatic white balance if you are
installing the camera in an artificially lighted room.
