14-3. Cable Connections
Refer to the host computer's interface specifications, and connect the interfaces.
Typical connections (for hardware flow control) are shown below.

When using an RS-232C cable (reverse type) sold commercially

* In general, windows PCs that have serial interfaces receive printer's hardware flow control signal (DTR) through the CTS
pin. But cables sold commercially connect the PC's CTS pin to the printer's RTS pin. Therefore, when using a cable sold
commercially, we recommend the transmission method be changed to Xon/Xoff protocol mode.
Note: Use inch screws for the connector fixing screws.
