This port supports LAN (Network) functions.
Note: Broadband (e.g. ADSL) modems usually connect to the LAN port.

This S/PDIF (Sony/Philips Digital Interface Format) Out Port allows you to connect your DVD-
capable PC to a Dolby AC-3 compatible receiver for "5.1" or 'dts' surround sound. External 71CH

When using cables connected to the Mini Display Port, try to make sure that the cables
are not bent excessively, as bending the cables may cause signal problems.
