10. Remote access via the web
You can access the recorder remotely via the web. You have the following options:

NAT

LAN and WAN

Apple computer

10.1 Remote access via NAT

Preparations:
Please make the following preparations:
1. Start the recorder as usual.
2. Connect the recorder to the network using a LAN cable.
3. Open the main menu at the recorder (see chapter 8.1.6.1):
Main menu  Setup  Network  Network
Enable the box "Obtain IP address automatically".
The IP address, subnet mask and gateway are automatically assigned.
(If a DHCP server is available; otherwise please enter manually)
You will need the listed IP address for the web access.
Select the preferred resp. alternate DNS server.
Click on „Apply".
4. Open the following menu (see chapter 8.1.6.5):
Main menu  Setup  Network  NAT
„NAT enable".
Enter the NAT server and the port.
Default server: www.autonat.com
Default port: 8989
Click on „Apply".
