8.1.6.6 Main menu  Setup  Network  Other settings
If your recorder is set to use PPPoE as its default network connection, you may setup DDNS
to be used for connections. Make the above entries and check them by clicking "Test".
DDNS server:
Websites suggested by the supplier: www.meibu.com, www.dyndns.com, www.no-ip.com.,
www.dvrdydns.com, www.autodns.com, mintdns
Using one of the above mentioned website, you have to register a user name, password and
domain name.
Option 1: Registration via www.autoddns.com:

Enter the IP address manually (see chapter 8.1.6.1).

On the "Other settings" page, please enable „DDNS".

As „DDNS Type", please select www.autoddns.com

Enter a host name at random, e.g. 123.

Click on "Register" to register the domain name. A confirmation window pops up.

Calling-up the page via:
http://"HostDomain".autoddns.com:Port
Option 2: Registration via www.dvrdydns.com:

Enter www.dvrdydns.com in your Internet
Explorer.

Click on „Registration", make your entries and
click on „Submit".

Calling-up the page via:
http://"HostDomain".dvrdydns.com:Port
