Clearing BIOS Settings (CMOS Memory)

To set the BIOS settings back to the factory default settings (clearing CMOS memory), use the internal jumper
switch.
You can also clear the password set in the BIOS Setup utility (SETUP) by using the same wav.
To clear the password or the CMOS memory, use the corresponding jumper switch illustrated in the figure
below.

Tips
Use this function to return the BIOS settings to the factory defaults if the server
does not work.
When the server works, use the BIOS setup utility (SETUP) to return the settings to
the factory defaults.
Important
Do not change any other jumper switch settings. Any change may cause the
server to fail or malfunction.
