Telephone Lock

You can lock your telephone as a safeguard against unauthorised use. Then only those
features and functions of your telephone can be accessed that are preset in the
OpenCom 100 / Aastra 800 Configurator for the "Guests" user group. You must enter
your user PIN to activate the telephone lock (see Changing the User PIN on page 34).
Note
National emergency numbers can still be dialled although the telephone lock is acti-
vated, providing they have been defined in your user group's special list in the
OpenCom 100 / Aastra 800. Ask your system administrator for these numbers.
You cannot activate/deactivate the telephone lock on a SIP terminal using the code-
number procedure described here. You can, however, operate the feature with the
OpenCTI 50 / Aastra CTI 800 additional programme. To do so, the system adminis-
trator has to authorise you to use this programme. For more information, please refer
to the online help of the OpenCom 100 / Aastra 800.

Calling Line Identification Restriction (CLIR) on a Call-by-Call Basis

Activating this function prevents your call number from being displayed on the ter-
minal of the internal or external party for a single call. This procedure is not necessary:
if the "Suppress phone number display permanently" function is set for your user
