Call Protection On/Off

You can protect your telephone against receiving internal and external calls (except
VIP and hunt group calls).
When configuring your user group, your system administrator sets whether a caller
hears a dial tone or an engaged tone when call protection is activated; ask him for the
setting which applies to you.
When call protection is activated, you hear the special dialling tone after lifting the
handset.
On a SIP terminal, you cannot activate/deactivate call protection with the code-
number procedure described here. You can, however, operate the feature with the
OpenCTI 50 / Aastra CTI 800 additional programme. To do so, the system adminis-
trator has to authorise you to use this programme. For more information, please refer
to the online help of the OpenCom 100 / Aastra 800.

Device busy

This feature cannot be used with a SIP terminal.

If there are multiple trunk keys configured on your telephone, you can configure that
as soon as one of the trunk keys is occupied your device is considered busy. Any
further callers hear the busy signal.
