6.1.1 Lubrication - machine head
The central oil lubrication system supplies all bearing positions automati-
cally with oil from the reservoir.
Proper setting
The oil level is between the minimum level marking and the maximum
level marking.

Setting steps
1. Check the oil level indicator every day.
2. If the oil level is below the minimum level marking (3):

Check the oil level after each extended machine standstill time. If it is
necessary to top off the oil:
• Top off the oil to no higher than the minimum level marking.
• Allow the machine to perform 50 cycles, then check the oil level again.
• If necessary, top off the oil to the maximum level marking

Machine damage due to incorrect oil level
Too little or too much oil can damage the machine.
Check the oil level every day and top off the oil if necessary.
