Use soft jaws.

Remove stop disk
and second-gear fixed gear

Remove the sixth-gear idler gear
–
Remove lock ring

Remove the third/fourth-gear sliding gear

Remove lock ring

Remove the fifth-gear idler gear
Assembling the main shaft

Use new lock rings in every repair job.
