Position the jet needle with the spring retainer in the throttle slide.

Mount and tighten screws

Install the carburetor. (

Condition
The jet needle has been removed.

Check the jet needle for bending and wear of the coating.
» If the jet needle is bent, or the coating is damaged or worn:

Check the needle clip for tightness.
