(3) Install valve guide to cylinder head.
• Heat cylinder head to a temperature of 80 – 100°C (176 –
212°F ).
Apply heat uniformly so that head will not be distorted.
• Use special tools to drive new valve guide into hole.
Drive in new valve guide until special tool (valve guide
installer attachment) contacts cylinder head.
• After installing, check valve guide protrusion

IN & EX 11mm (0.4331 in.)
(4) Ream valve guide bore with f5.5mm reamer.
09916-34550 : Valve guide reamer (f f f f f 5.5mm)
09916-34542 : Reamer handle
NOTE:
Clean and oil valve guide bore after reaming.
