FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
Symptom
No normal signals are received
from the crankshaft position sen-
sor.
Intake air pressure sensor–open
or short circuit detected.
Intake air pressure sensor: hose
line malfunction (clogged or de-
tached hose).
Throttle position sensor: open or
short circuit detected.
Stuck throttle position sensor de-
tected.
Coolant temperature sensor: open
or short circuit detected.
Intake air temperature sensor:
open or short circuit detected.
The vehicle has overturned.
Malfunction detected in the prima-
ry wire of the ignition coil.
Engine speed is high when the en-
gine is idling.
Fuel injector: open circuit detect-
ed.
Lean angle sensor: open or short
circuit detected.
No normal signals are received
from the speed sensor.
The ECU is unable to monitor the
battery voltage
(an open or short circuit in the line
to the ECU).
Error is detected while reading or
writing on EEPROM (CO adjust-
ment value).
Power supply to the fuel injection
system is not normal.
