WAN 4 - Dial Out

Dial Out configuration is used for connecting a remote host using modem
and telephone cable. For this it will require some basic information such
as connection name, telephone number, user name and password.
Click on Interfaces > WAN4 > Dial Out and web page opens up as
shown below:
Connection Name: User must give the account a name. This can be
anything user likes, but if user has more than one account, each name must
be unique.
Phone No: Specify the phone number to dial
Authentication type: Password Authentication Protocol (PAP): The
client authenticates itself by sending a user name and an (optionally
encrypted) password to the server, which the server compares to its secret
database. Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol (CHAP): The
authenticator (i.e. the server) sends a randomly generated ``challenge''
string to the client, along with its hostname. The client uses the hostname
