Configuring DRO-250i
WAN3 Settings - Dynamic IP address
Select this option if your ISP provides you an IP address automatically.
This option is typically used for Cable services. Dynamic IP address
allows the DRO-250i to get its IP address information from your ISP using
the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP). Use this setting if your
ISP instructs you to use DHCP or to automatically obtain an IP address. A
server on your ISP's network will then automatically send the necessary IP
address information to your DRO-250i.
Host Name: Hostname is the name assigned to the DRO-250i which will
be displayed in the DHCP server list to which the device is connected.
Renew /Release: Renew button will help the user to get an IP address
from the DHCP server. If user wants to release the current IP address, then
click on release button.
