CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS
This section describes the function of each control on the remote control used to control this unit. To operate other
components, see "REMOTE CONTROL FEATURES" on page 81.
The XM Satellite Radio controlling functions in the following buttons (XM, XM MEMORY, SRCH MODE, DISPLAY, cursor buttons

Controlling this unit
Press AMP to control this unit.

A and B off

SPEAKERS
Turns on or off the set of front speakers connected to the
FRONT A and/or B terminals on the rear panel. Press this
button repeatedly to toggle as follows:
CD
Infrared signal transmitter
Outputs infrared control signals. Aim this transmitter at
the component you want to operate (see page 7).
(g) Input selector buttons
Select the input source.
@ CODE SET
Use to set up remote control codes (see page 83).
@ Sound field program selector buttons
Select sound field programs (see page 59).
- Use SELECT to play back 2-channel sources in
surround (see page 38).
- Use EXTD SUR. to play back 6. I-channel compatible
sources with the 5. I-channel speaker system
(see page 38).
- Use DIRECT ST. to play back 2-channel sources in
hi-fi stereo sound (see page 36).

ENHANCER
Turns on or off the Compressed Music Enhancer mode
(see page 34).

LEVEL
Selects the speaker channel to be adjusted (see page 33).
