18. Enter the IPedge server Hostname. The Hostname should be
descriptive of the server such as the name of the city or location on a
campus.
Note:The Hostname should be the same as the server name.
19. There is no need to change the Resolution order.
20. Enter the DNS server address(es).
21. If the enterprise has a domain setup enter it in the Search domains
box. If not leave the default entry.
22. Click on Save.
23. Select System > Bootup and Shutdown.
24. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Click on Reboot System.
Note:
System reboot may take several minutes.
WARNING! Anytime the IPedge Hostname, IP Address or, the
Hostname file is changed the server must be rebooted.
If the you do not reboot the server after you change the
Host name some functions and applications will not
function correctly.
25. Close the Webmin and Browser windows.
26. Go to
"SET SYSTEM TIME" on page Chapter 4
If Save and Apply is selected or if Apply Configuration in the Network
Configuration screen is selected during the Network Configuration
procedure Webmin will immediately not be accessible If either occurs use
the following steps to reconnect to Webmin.
1. 1. Close the Webmin window.
2. In Enterprise Manager select Administration > Enterprise >
Servers.
3. Click on the Database Synchronization icon.
4. Click to check-mark the Table Name box, this selects all databases.
5. Click on the Order Database Synchronization icon.
6. When the Server database synchronization successful message
papers go to
