Dublin and Prague
The same configuration enables the Dublin and Prague ProCurve Secure
Routers to receive multicasts for hosts at the local site that need such traffic.
These routers can also forward multicasts from a local source to remote sites.
The routers should use the Frame Relay network, and not the ISDN connec-
tions, for forwarding and receiving multicasts.
Complete these steps to configure PIM-SM on the WAN routers at both of the
branch offices:
1.
Enable PIM-SM on the router's Ethernet and Frame Relay interfaces.
Dublin(config)# interface eth 0/1
Dublin(config-eth 0/1)# ip pim sparse-mode
Dublin(config-eth 0/1)# interface fr 1.1
Dublin(config-fr 1.1)# ip pim sparse-mode
Dublin(config-fr 1.1)# exit
2.
Access the PIM sparse configuration mode context and enter the Berlin
router's loopback IP address for the RP.
Dublin(config)# router pim-sparse
Dublin(config-pim-sparse)# rp-address 192.168.127.1
Dublin(config-pim-sparse)# exit
3.
