CHAPTER 1 GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Step 6 (secondary pre-transfer charging)
A combination of an AC bias and a DC bias is applied to the secondary pre-transfer
charging assembly so that each color toner on the intermediate transfer drum will receive
an appropriate bias, thereby ensuring good secondary transfer.
