Fans

1. Removing the Heat Discharge Fan
(FM1; printer unit)
1) Perform the steps on p. 3-16 to
remove the rear cover.
2) Disconnect the connector

3) Holding the grip lever, remove the
thermistor holder. (Take care to keep it
level.)

4) Disengage the two claws, and remove
the heat discharge fan 1 together with
the thermistor holder.

5) Disengage the two claws, and slide
the holder cover to detach the ther-
mistor.

Caution
When replacing the fan, take care not
to touch the surface of the thermistor.

When mounting the heat discharge
fan, be sure that the logo of the manu-
facturer is toward the outside of the
printer unit.
