Using the phone book

Slide VZ the controller repeatedly or press
X
and hold until the character bar disappears.

To select ¬: turn the controller and

press to confirm.
Select an entry: turn and press the
X
controller.
The G symbol indicates that an entry
contains more than one phone number.
To select a telephone book entry with the
X
G symbol: turn the controller and press to
confirm.
The sub-entries appear. The G symbol
changes to I.
To select a sub-entry: turn the controller
X
and press to confirm.
Returning to the telephone book with
character bar:
Press the % button.

Displaying details for an entry
To select an entry from the selection list:
X
turn the controller.
To select the list symbol to the right of the
X
entry: slide VY the controller and press to
confirm.
To select Details: turn and press the Details
X
controller.
The detailed view appears.
Closing the detailed display:
Slide XVY the controller until the entry is
X
highlighted once again.
or
Press the % button.

Deleting an entry from the phone
book
If the entry contains only phone numbers, it
is deleted from the phone book and address
book.
If it contains additional data, such as a
navigable destination, the entry is deleted in
the phone book. However, the entry is
retained in the address book.
To select an entry from the selection list:
X
turn the controller and press to confirm.
To select the list symbol to the right of the
X
entry: slide VY the controller and press to
confirm.
To select Delete: turn the controller and Delete
X
press to confirm.
A prompt appears asking whether the entry
should be deleted.
To select Yes Yes or No: turn or press the No
X
controller.
If you select Yes, the entry is deleted in Yes
accordance with the rules described above.
If you select No, the process will be No
canceled.
