Camera, Preset, Trigger Output Control [510]
The cameras connected to the remote site, preset positions, and trigger output can be controlled from the control site during
communication.
This also enables the camera menu setup when a camera equipped with the specified function is connected to the VIDEO IN
1 connector on the rear of the AV Codec in the remote site.

Notes
• The above function is only available when a camera
equipped with the specified function is connected to
the VIDEO IN 1 connector on the rear of the AV
Codec in the remote site.
• The above preset position numbers correspond to
the preset position previously set in the [430 VIEW
POINT SETUP] menu. That is not the same as the
preset position in the specified camera.
Note
If the camera is reset (Camera Reset or All Reset) in
the camera menu, then the menus on the monitor
screen are cleared.
In this case, press the MENU button to return to the
previous [500] or [510] menu.

• camera selection
Move the cursor to the CAMERA parameter in the menu
and select the desired camera number by pressing the
Direction buttons. Then press the ENTER button. The
selected camera images appear on the monitor screen.
The camera numbers correspond to the VIDEO IN connec-
tor (1 to 5) on the rear of the AV Codec.
• Preset Position Selection
This item is only available when camera number 1 is select-
ed on the CAMERA item above.
Move the cursor to the PRESET parameter in the menu and
select the desired preset position by pressing the Direction
buttons. Then press the ENTER button.
The selected preset position appears on the monitor
screen.
• Trigger Output Control
When the TRIGGER OUT port of the AV Codec is connect-
ed to the remote port of the outboard device, then the cam-
eras connected to the outboard device can be controlled
remotely.
Move the cursor to the TRIGGER parameter in the menu
and select the desired trigger output number by pressing
the Direction button. Then press the ENTER button.
A pulse will be output from the selected terminal of the
TRIGGER OUT Port to the device connected.
• Camera menu Control
Move the cursor on CAMERA MENU by

pressing the Direction button. Then press the
ENTER button.
The specified camera menu appears on the monitor
screen.
In the camera menu, the following buttons are valid for
setup.
ts
: Moves the cursor to the desired position or
selects a mode.
ENTER: Executes the selections and displays a sub-
menu for an item.
DELETE: Executes the currently selected setting and
returns to the previous camera menu.
:
Resets the selected menu to the factory
default setting.
#:
Resets all settings to the factory default set-
tings.
Refer to the operating instructions of the specified cam-
era for further details.
To close the camera menu, press the MENU

button.
The screen returns to the previous 510 menu.
