Quick (Short) Dial Registration [310]

This menu lets you register Quick (Short) Dial Numbers in the directory. Up to 200 destinations can be registered in the direc-
tory.

• Enter telephone numbers in the order of 1B and 2B.
Unless a telephone number is entered in Item 1B, no
telephone number can be entered in Item 2B. (The
cursor cannot be moved.)
• To delete telephone numbers, start with 2B.

1 Select a desired Quick Dial number (001 to
200) by pressing the Numeric buttons in the
[310 DIRECTORY REGI.]. Then press the
ENTER button.
The cursor moves to the selected quick dial number. Then
press the ENTER button.
The selected menu in the figure appears on the monitor
screen.
The same menu will appear on the monitor screen, when
move the cursor to the desired number in the [310 DIREC-
TORY REGI.] by pressing the

number by pressing the numeric buttons.
For 2B communication, also enter a telephone number (and
a sub-address if necessary) in item 2B with the numeric
buttons.
3 Register the Title of the Quick Dial Number.
q Move the cursor to the TITLE by pressing the
button and then press the ENTER button.
The TITLE menu shown in the figure appears on the
monitor screen.
w To select a character, move the cursor on the desired
character in the table by pressing the direction buttons.
Then press the ENTER button to select the character
and place it in the TITLE area.
Repeat the above procedure until the title for the desti-
nation is completed.
e If an incorrect character is selected, press the DELETE
button to delete the character positioned immediately to
the left of the cursor in the TITLE area.
To insert a character in the TITLE area, move the cursor
to the position to be inserted in the TITLE area by
pressing the Direction buttons. Select the desired char-
acter by pressing the Direction buttons and then press
the ENTER button.
r When the title is completed, press the ESC button to
return to the previous menu.
4 Move the cursor to the SEQ. DIAL item
parameter in the menu, and select either ON
or OFF for Sequential Dialing setting.
This item lets you enable or disable the sequential dialing.
ON: Enables Sequential Dialing
OFF: Disables Sequential Dialing
Note: This item is only available when the RECEIVER is
set in the [100 MODE] menu.
5 Press the ESC button to return to the
previous [310 DIRECTORY REGI.] menu.
To register additional quick dial numbers, repeat the above
procedures from 1 to 5.
