About Calling No. Check
• Both telephone numbers and sub-addresses are checked.
• The telephone numbers reported by the opposite site are compared with the numbers in the directory, and those which
have fewer digits are in the range of comparison.
• The sub-addresses reported by the opposite site are compared with all the digits in the directory, and the calls are
rejected if they do not agree with each other in the number of digits.
• Calls are rejected if their telephone numbers are not reported.

Notes
• In setting a group ID, all the parties communicating with one another must set the same group ID.
• The group ID is checked after the line is connected so that, even if the group ID check finds the caller incompatible, the
caller will be charged.
• Video may be displayed or audio may be output during group ID checks.

This item lets you enable or disable phone number verification
when calls are received from the destination.
Select [ON] to reject calls from unspecified numbers.
• CALLING NO. CHECK
When a call is made from the destination, the destination
(calling) number is compared with the numbers in the
directory and if it is found in the directory, then the call is
received. Otherwise the call is rejected.
ON:
Enables calling number verification.
OFF: Disables calling number verification.
• CALLED NO. CHECK
When a call is made from the destination, the local number
is compared with the called number reported from the line
and if it agrees with the latter, then the call is received.
ON:
Enables called number verification.
OFF: Disables called number verification.
Apart from checking the callers with calling numbers, unspeci-
fied calls can be rejected by setting a group ID.
• GROUP ID CHECK
ON:
When a call comes in, the group ID is checked and if
the call is compatible with the group ID, then communi-
cation starts.
OFF: No group ID check is made.
• GROUP ID
Set a group ID.
Be sure to specify it with a 4-digit number. If a number less
than 4 digits is entered, zeros are automatically added. (For
example, if 12 is entered, two zeros are added to make it
0012.)
