2-1-6 Fuser section
The paper sent from the transfer/separation section is interleaved between the heat roller and the press roller.
The heat roller is heated by the IH coil (IHC), and the toner is fused by heat and pressure and fixed onto the
paper because the press roller is pressed by the fuser press spring. The surface temperature of heat roller is
detected by the fuser thermistor1 (FTH1), fuser thermistor2 (FTH2) and the surface temperature of press
roller is detected by the fuser thermistor3 (FTH3) and controlled by the engine PWB (EPWB). If the fuser sec-
tion shows extremely high temperature, the power line will be shut off and the IH coil (IHC) is forced to turn off.
