Processing a Parcel Without Parcel Rating Module
8. Place the parcel (or tape sheet if par-
cel is too big for machine) up against
the registration wall of the sys tem
and slide it to the right until the sys-
tem grasps it. The system prints the
dig i tal indicia and ejects the parcel/
tape sheet. If need be, place the tape
sheet on the parcel.
If the meter printed a zero postage indicia ($0.00) instead

of the intended postage amount, it means you accidentally keyed
in a postage amount outside the range displayed in step 4. If
this happens, simply redo this procedure but ensure that you are
keying in a value within the range displayed. Also, this time use a
tape sheet to print the postage value.
Once you have printed the proper postage amount, place the
tape sheet to the left of the original impression (if room provides)
or affix the tape sheet in the upper right hand corner of the other
side of the parcel.
