Processing a Parcel Without Parcel Rating Module

This procedure is used for processing Parcels (those mail pieces
weighing over 500 grams or those mail pieces whose dimensions are
too large to qualify as Lettermail) if you did not purchase the optional
Parcel Rating module. You need to know the weight and appropriate
postage value for the parcel you wish to process. If you need help
determining if a mail piece should be rated as a Parcel or Lettermail,
or need to obtain the fees associated with shipping parcels, contact your
local Canada Post retail location or log on to www.canadapost.ca.
1. At the Home screen, select CLASS or Select a class (depend-
ing on your machine settings).
2. Select Other payment, then press Page Down and select Other
Items.

3. The system displays a series of selectable postage value ranges
that you can access. Select 3.50 to 99.99 (this is the range ap-
plicable for entering postage manually for parcels).
SERVICES
◄ 0.01 to 0.50
◄ 3.50 to 99.99
◄Done
4. The system displays the following screen. Key in the postage
amount using appropriate decimal places and select OK.

5. Select Done at the Services value confirmation screen.
