Fax Information Services

Many fax information services for banks, airline reservations, hotel reservations, etc., require
tone dialing for their services. If your machine is connected to a rotary pulse line, follow this
procedure to set the machine temporarily for tone dialing.
NOTE
When you use the fax information services, you cannot use the Redial mode.

Press [On-hook]

IMPORTANT
When the optional Card Reader-C1 is attached, the line is disconnected if you press [On-hook],
and then remove the control card while the line is engaged.
