Types of Memory Boxes
Set a Relay Memory Box.
For instructions on registering a Relay Memory Box, see "Relay Memory Box," on p. 5-49.
Give the subaddress and RX password to the parties who will be using
your machine to relay documents.
The other parties can now send documents to the Relay Memory Box.
The received documents are sent to the registered destinations.
NOTE
• If you set Memory Box RX Report to 'On' (from the Additional Functions screen), a report is
printed when documents are received in the Relay Memory Box. (See "Memory Inbox RX
Report," on p. 7-8.)
• You can select to print the received documents from this machine. (See "Relay Memory Box," on
p. 5-49.)
• If you have set a time for documents to be sent by Relay Start Time, the documents are sent at
the specified time. (See "Relay Memory Box," on p. 5-49.)
• When you send the documents in the Relay Memory Box, the documents in the Memory Box are
erased. (See "Printing or Erasing Documents," on p. 3-10.)
• The subaddress and RX password stored in the Address Book are ignored.
