Relay Memory Box

A Relay Memory Box enables you to transfer received documents to a number of specified
destinations at a specified time, using the machine as a relay unit.
You can set the Relay Start Time, and relay the documents in the memory box all at once. (See
"Relay Memory Box," on p. 3-15.)
You can specify the following items for a Relay Memory Box.

Memory Box Sets the memory box name.
Name
Password Sets a password to control the memory box. It is
necessary to enter the password in order to
change the contents of the memory box, or to
print documents received in the memory box.
Subaddress Sets an ITU-T standard subaddress. This is
necessary for distinguishing a Relay Memory
Box from other memory boxes.
RX Password Sets an ITU-T standard password. If a password
has been set, the password added to the
received documents is compared with the set
password. If the passwords do not match, the
documents are not received.
Relay Sending Sets the destination to which the received
Destination documents in the memory box are to be relayed.
Org. Relay Unit Sets whether to restrict the original's relay source
Restriction machine from sending you a transmission
request.
If 'On' is selected, the telephone numbers of the
relay source machines from which you want to
receive documents are specified.
Documents can only be received from the set
relay source machines.
Print RX Sets whether to send relay transmission results
Document to sender.
Relay Start Time Sets the start time for relaying the documents.
Once you make this setting, the documents in the
memory box are relayed automatically at the
specified time.
An asterisk (*) indicates the default setting.
