Status
The
Configuration Log
page allows you to view and search login and configuration activities
triggered using the VCS web interface. It shows all web login attempts for administrators and
Findme users (both failed and successful), and all changes to the VCS configuration made using
the web interface. The Configuration Log visible using the web interface holds a maximum of 4 MB
of data; once this size is reached, the oldest entries will be overwritten.
To view the
Configuration Log
page:
Status > Logs > Configuration Log
All events that appear in the Configuration Log are also recorded in the Event Log. They are
all recorded as Level 1 Events, so any changes to the
presence in the Configuration Log.
Search for
This field allows you to filter the Configuration Log. Enter the text you wish to search for and click
Filter. Only those web-based events that contain the text you entered will then be shown.
To return to the complete Configuration Log listing, click Reset.
Results
This section shows all the web-based events, with the most recent being shown first.
Most events contain hyperlinks in one or more of the fields (such fields will change color when you
hover over them). You can click on the hyperlink to automatically filter the search so that only those
events that contain that same text string are shown.
For example, clicking on the text that appears after

Administrator sessions

Will be one of the following Events:
Admin Session Start
Admin Session Finish
Admin Session Login Failure

FindMe user sessions

Will be one of the following Events:
User Session Start
User Session Finish
User Session Login Failure
For both of the above types of session, the
the name of the administrator or FindMe user to whom the session relates, and their IP address

Changes to the VCS configuration made by administrators using the web interface will have an
