Changing the DTMF pulse duration

Changing the DTMF pulse duration

You can change the DTMF pulse duration (DTMF = dual tone multi frequency dialing
method). This can be of use when, for example, an answering machine does not
react to signals from your telephone. With certain answering machines, a pulse
duration of 1000 ms (slow) is required, with others 500 ms (average). Your telephone
is preset to 100 ms (fast).
Press the M
Scroll to the Settings menu item.
Confirm selection.
Scroll to the Dial settings menu item.
Confirm selection.
Scroll to the Tone DTMF duration quick menu item.
Press the "Modify" softkey several times if required and select the desired
setting, e.g. DTMF duration average.
Confirm the change by pressing the "Save" softkey. The new setting has been
saved.
