If DTC P1876, GO to D10 .
If DTC P1877, GO to D10 .
If DTC P1891, GO to Pinpoint Test B or Pinpoint Test
If DTC C1107, GO to Pinpoint Test A.
No
GO to D3.
NOTE: The active command 4WD MODE L is located in the 4WD Mode Indicators active command menu.
Toggle the active command 4WD MODE L to ON, then OFF. The 4x4 indicator should illuminate, then go off.
Does the indicator operate correctly?
Yes
GO to D4.
No
REFER to Section 413-01.
NOTE: The active command LOW LAMP is located in the 4-Wheel Electronic Shift active command menu.
Toggle the active command LOW LAMP to ON, then OFF. The 4x4 LOW indicator should illuminate, then go
off.
Does the indicator operate correctly?
Yes
GO to D5.
No
REFER to Section 413-01.
NOTE: The active command A4WD LAMP is located in the 4WD Indicators active command menu.
Toggle the active command A4WD LAMP to ON, then OFF. The A4WD indicator should illuminate, then go off.
Does the indicator operate correctly?
Yes
GO to D6.
No
REFER to Section 413-01.
NOTE: The active commands AXLE ENGG and AXLE DSCN are located in the 4-Wheel Electronic Shift active
command menu.
Set the active command AXLE ENGG to ON and the AXLE DSCN to OFF.
Raise and support the vehicle with the engine running; refer to
Spin one front tire. The other front tire should spin in the opposite direction.
Is the axle disconnect working properly?
Yes
Exit the active command mode; GO to D7 .
No
GO to D10.
Place the mode switch in the 4H position and drive a short distance.
