A20 CHECK CIRCUIT 976 (O) FOR SHORT TO POWER

C201-2, circuit 772 (LB), and ground. If the front Hall effect sensor is not indicating properly, measure the voltage
between transfer case assembly C201-4, circuit 435 (Y/LB), and ground.
Is any voltage indicated?
Yes
REPAIR circuit 435 (Y/LB)/772 (LB). CLEAR the DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
REPLACE the inoperative Hall effect sensor(s). CLEAR the DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation. If
concern still exists, REPLACE the GEM; REFER to
Monitor the PID 4WDCLST.
Place the mode switch in the A4WD position.
Does the PID 4WDCLST indicate ON--- when in the A4WD mode?
Yes
GO to A27.
No
If the PID 4WDCLST indicates OFFO-G, GO to
Measure the voltage between GEM C241-15, circuit 976 (O), and ground.
Is any voltage indicated?
Yes
REPLACE the GEM; REFER to
Section
419-10. CLEAR the DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation.
Section
