C13 CHECK THE VOLTAGE TO THE BPP SWITCH

C14 CHECK THE BPP SWITCH

Monitor the PID BOO_GEM.
Depress the brake pedal.
Does the PID BOO_GEM indicate ON?
Yes
GO to C15.
No
GO to C13.
Measure the voltage between BPP switch C252, circuit 10 (LG/R), and ground.
Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
Yes
GO to C14.
No
CHECK I/P fuse 13 (15A). REPLACE if necessary. If OK, REPAIR circuit 10 (LG/R). CLEAR the DTCs. TEST the
system for normal operation. If the fuse fails again, CHECK for a short to ground; REPAIR as necessary.
Monitor the PID BOO_GEM.
Verify the PID BOO_GEM indicates OFF.
Connect a jumper wire between BPP switch C252, circuit 10 (LG/R), and C252, circuit 511 (LG).
Does the PID BOO_GEM indicate ON?
